Please help! I received a speeding ticket today for 69 in a 55. I also received prayer for judgement 2 years & 9 months ago - not quite 3 years ago. Can I still get the ticket reduced & no points on my insurance and licensce? I have been worried all day.

What state?

If NC, you will probably need an attorney to have a chance to avoid points.

Hi. I live in NC. I have taken care of the ticket. I went to the DA's office and had it reduced to a 64 in a 55. My insurance company said that I will have no points since it has been reduced. Also, it will not affect my PJC since it has not been excactly 3 years. I thank the LORD that everything worked out okay. I have been driving more carefully. I just get stressed out when so many people try to pass me!
