What would legally happen in Michigan if a 17 yr old ran away from home. They ran to their boyfrienda house and started living there? Boyfriend is 18 yrs old. The girls dad is always fighting with her... Constant drama and arguments/fighting. If he kicked her out then she recorded it and showed police would this work in her favor? She has a job also... clean record for both boy and girl. Boy owns apartment and works a full time 40 hr a week job. Can support 2 people.

If she is reported as a runaway or missing person police will simply return her home if they find her. If the 18 year old is encouraging her in any way or interfering with the parents then he could potentially face charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
There would not be any legal consequence for the minor- that is totally up to the parents to handle.
The recording of the father is pretty much useless. Even if dad kicked her out she still has to come home when parents say it's time.
She will be 18 soon enough, but until then mom and dad still make the rules.

If dad or mom are abusing you in anyway, call "911", or tell any teacher, principal, or counselor at your school.

Other than that, make sure you at least finish high school. Plus, don't depend on a man or woman to support you when you turn 18. You can take care of you. You aren't weak, don't let others fool you. Be an independent person, be careful of who you trust. Trust yourself.
