16 year old possesion of stolen property charge

I recently found out that i have a 16 year old possesion of stolen property charge in upstate NewYork it is a class c felony does anyone here know what i should do to resolve this issue and how i should go about doing it and what could happen to me if i return to NewYork could i be going to jail? if anyone can help me with info please do thank you
