$150 fee for switching a doctors appointment one whole week before?!?!?!?!

I have a doctors appointment scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 26th. I called today, Monday, to try to reschedule it for a different day and they said they would charge me $150 to switch my appointment. The only thing I have ever heard of like this is not showing up to an appointment and being charged. But I am calling a week before to try to reschedule. I think this is ridiculous. Is there any law against this or is there anything I can do about it???
