i rent part of a house and my rent is $150.00 a week. My boss is also my landlord. I was out sick for one week so I fell behind a bit. She laid me off ans 2 days later put a 3 day notice on my door. She said that because I rent by the week she only has to give 3 days notice. Is this true?

All of this occuredin 2009. From Jan. until 2 weeks ago.

I got absolutly nothing. There is probably no paper trail of me working there. I am at a loss.

I was employed as a bartender for 9 months. we got $4.00 an hour and we got paid in cash with no taxes taken out or paper trail. Is this legal for her to do and if so how do I go about filing taxes and proving my income?
