Anything. We want to be the ones raising the baby without having to worry about it being taken away from us a few months or years down the road. Would it be better if just one of us tried to adopt it or would they still see us as a couple?

Our friend already has 3 kids and just found out she's almost 5 months pregnant with a 4th. She knows she can't take care of another and wants to sign over her rights to us. The dad wants nothing to do with the baby. With us being a lesbian couple what are our options?
