I'm thinking about taking an OTF knife with me when going abroad some time and I'm curious to know if there is a federal law against doing so . I'll be sure to check the laws concerning bringing such a knife to my country of destination by the way and thanks ahead of time for any answers . :)

I'm thinking about purchasing an OTF ( out the front ) knife from a legit site like BladeHQ , however I don't want to inadvertently break the law by doing so , which is why I'm interested in some advice ... Now I realize that the Switchblade Knife Act prohibits the shipping of switchblades...
