    Accident question

She didn't have liability insurance that covers bodily injury to another person for an accident? She should have. The statute of limitations for a bodily injury claim in CA is 2 years. She needs to contact her insurance company that she had at the time of the accident.

    Barking dogs.

Let me tell you from my experience what I did in this type of situation. My neighbors put in a pool a few summers ago and they have a Pit Bull. Once he lost most of his yard that he would play in to a pool he was very unhappy, that paired with the fact that my neighbors are NEVER home really...

    Can I Sue

It was all so painful to read with all of the improper capitalization and the fact that it was one big run-on sentence....however, I don't see any reason why you would have any type of case.

    Need Advice

So what sort of compensation are you trying to seek for this incident? I don't see any monetary award coming to you, maybe an apology, but you already got one of those.

Son hit by car out of crosswalk - Alameda County, CA

Not to mention the personal injury attorney's fees that would be taken out of a settlement that would more than likely be reduced because of comparitive negligence only if the attorney could convince the drivers insurance company their insured was responsible for any of it.

Premises Liability 16yo son injured at friends house

This was on the friends parents property? Insurance companies always do an "investigation" doesn't mean they are not accepting liability. but they have to get statements of exactly what happened from all parties in the accident and they will review policy language to see if the policy allows for...

Accident without insurance... Not at fault

First of all, the insurance company cannot revoke his license or registration. That's up to the DMV. If there is a law in your state that you must have liability insurance while driving then the DMV COULD suspend your husbands license. Second, do you have proof that it was not your husbands...

    Good thinking.

Door got slammed from another car while parked and crushed my leg inbetween.

Hard to tell. Depends on how much your medical bills are, how much future care you will need and what lost wages are (if any). It's hard for any PI attorney to say right off the bat how much any case is worth. Also have to take into consideration what the other persons insurance limits may be.

Hurt by a Defective Product Inside a Store

    That's not a defective product...that's an operator error. I don't see a case.

Ex-husband adhering to terms of Divorce Settlement

Make the payment yourself, send him the proof of payment for reimbursement. Honestly, what makes you think he has the full amount to pay off the loan if he doesn't even make the payments on time? Or does he have the money and he's just being lazy?

    child support/custody

Unfortunately, regardless of the fact that the Mother is not allowing contact he still is liable for the child support and medical. I'm sure it states in the court order that the Mother must give the Father notice of change of address and phone number as well. Getting an attorney to help with...

child support from unemployed trust fund dad

Trust me, no one in CA is going to jail either. My ex is about 10k in arrears and no one is even touching him. He's even in the military (not overseas).

    Stop payment?

Contact the police to report the stolen MP3 player and then put in call to the company that installed the carpet. Let them know it came up missing right after the carpet was installed. Do not stop payment on the check.

    child support/custody

Just as a side note: Honestly, if your husband is able to provide health insurance to his child that is a great thing. So, he gets extra money taken out of his check for medical insurance that benefits HIS child? That is part of the responsibility of being a parent.

    child support/custody

I don't see any reason why the Mother getting married would have anything to do with it. Employers have certain rates for what they take out of paychecks for insurance, it also depends on the plan that is chosen. If your husband has himself + you on his benefits through work it would have one...
