    jaywalking

This one depends upon the state. I was working for a company who said if we failed to take a BAC test on demand from any cop, we would be fired. What ever. I'm not giving up any of my rights for anyone or thing. We call this a free country? I've worked with people from all over the world, and...

    Who Liable

Dry your tears, please. Again, how did you hit the deer? I know it didn't just run out, the pitch of the engine turns them off. Unlike cars. Never, ever have I heard of someone hitting a deer on a bike(this includes 20 plus years of the Sturgis Bike Rally). If you were chasing it, which...

    Who Liable

You're liable for the bike, and the deer, if the state wants to crank on you. How do you hit a deer on a bike? The only way you hit a deer on a m/c is if you chased it, it turned, which it wouldn't, and you hit the side. Sorry, this sounds like bs to me. So what did you really do to the bike?

    child neglect

Well, that lawyer isn't much help. What is he saying you should do to get this dismissed? Anything? Or does he just want you to plead guilty?

    Order to Appear

The one making the complaint can stop the case at anytime. The courts prefer that it be settled and not waste court time. I would make an offer, the worst that will happen is they say no.

    Order to Appear

You can call the lawyer and ask if they would settle. Have a number set before you call. They should settle if you are reasonable. Write back if the lawyer is being hard headed.

    Hostile Workplace

Some states have extended and added to employment discrimination laws per state pertecting sexual orientation and other discriminatory practices. But, if you are employed by the Federal Government, then you are stuck with their rules.Which seems to be the case here. If it made work...

If you own the property, and if Indiana has it, you can file a homestead decleration, which in Montana anyway, prevents sale.

    Childs Rights

13 in Montana. My son testified in court when he was 10. Just depends on the court. At sixteen, I would think the judge would draw heavily on what she has to say. Do you live in the same town/city/ county?

    Hostile Workplace

The Federal Governement has a Union? They do this in the oilfield all the time because women seem to think they need to be in isolated places with 30 men. It's called "fraternizing". But, it really boils down to harrasment. Do any other men and women talk? Harassment is defined as " a...

Assault & Battery Help! I might get sued for battery..but with no witnesses or police report?

The police report has nothing to do with this as they are suing you for a tort. A report would only help the other party. You may want to read up on Torts and Defenses.

Move out of state with child

One would have to be dealing in good faith in order to have jurisdiction in another state. I don't think you would have clean hands to obtain jurisdictioin. Certainly, you could move there and file, but you have to be a resident there for six months, the courts would determine which state was...

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Petty Theft & Warrant in CA

It's a little late to be asking now isn't it? You needed to ask for a continuence before dec. 28th. What was this hearing you missed? You can ask for a court appointed lawyer, who can try to sooth you as they put the rope around your neck. That being CA, you can probably go to...

Waiver of Process? Is this a trick?

I don't know why they do that. I had a lawyer years back in a custody matter, and the damn fool mailed it to them. They refused it. By the time we got the mother served, they were very well prepared and walked all over us. So, it could be to your advantage. It gives you a little more time to...
