Do what you have to do. I was just worried there may be some hidden charge there. You checked it out, and now you know. Good job looking it up.

    Pennsylvania custody

It's not that hard in most cases. Get witness's, the paper work is fairly simple, I can get you a link to the Montana papers, just to give you an idea. The thing with going it alone is you have control. Follow the procedure, and you will do just fine.

    Privacy Act

Well, you are going to have to look into your states laws. You would be looking under "Public records" and "Confidential Criminal Justice Information". The problem I see is the fact (where I live anyway) that the people have a RIGHT to know. But, this wasn't on T.V. warning the public or a...

    Order to Appear

Cool. Perhaps your phone call triggered it? LOL, good job. Nice to know a little effort changed things, better than going into court! Glad it worked out for you. :cheer:

Isn't that a double fine in a work zone? I would be careful on that one. May want to look over the laws before you bite on that. Do whatever you're comfortable with, just be careful.

    Subpoena for child support

Because its fact. Who said I was a lawyer? I bet my win record in court is far better than the standard "lawyers". Vigilantibus et non dormientibus serviunt leges. The laws serve the vigilant, not those who sleep upon their rights. 2 Bouv. Inst. n. 2327. Bouvier’s Law Dictionary, 1856...

    Subpoena for child support

Or because it was fact, that nobody could dispute, it was taken down. Kinda like sensoring. Or, maybe it is. Like I pointed out, an Ex Parte Order issued without jurisdiction is void from the start. The state of NJ has no jurisdictioin over you , unless you let them have it. You owe no...

    Old custody order

You can google the UCCJA and read up. That was one of the hang ups in my case, and lawyers pumping me full of mis-information. The key is to file first in PA. In a family case, it tough when you are the defendant/respondant. Plus, if Granny responds to the PA action, they get jurisdiction...

    Old custody order

Yes and No lol. Thats law for you. Yes, the original order is good. There is something called the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act or UCCJA. This will be applied in this case. The question comes down to modifing the order, and who can do that? PA, has to by the act, give "FULL FAITH...

My father took my baby...i need help to get her back

It boils down to two things 1-somone is being paranoid, OR 2-there IS something going on, and you have neglected to see it, or chose to ingore it. Your first responsability/priority is to your child. Everything else takes the backseat. I recomend you get to the bottom of it ASAP, for your...

    Soon to be Ex... threats...

YOu can google for a child support calculator, or just look up your states laws and follow the statutory scheme to figuer what you owe. They can go as high as 50% or your GROSS income. But, your figure would be much lower than fifty percent. If there was no order, she cannot go back and ask...

    Subpoena for child support

Ya, what happened to the case law I posted saying they can't do what they are doing here? They have no juridictioin over you until you respond. An order made without jurisdiction is void.

    NEW YORK traffic ticket wows

Well, that's the sad part about it in this country, justice take so long to achieve, yet being convicted only take a couple of little words. There are a few things you can do: 1-Default the prosecutor if you have enough time(twenty working days). Non-statutory filings, nothing to argue...

    Wrongful vehicle towing in CT

Ya, don't file a Writ that works. Dont' follow case law, take someone advice who has never lititgated such a case. If there was no hearing, there was no duepocess. Look in your states constitution, it tells you this entire thing is ilegal. No due process=no jurisdiction. State law or...

Have you ever done any kind of court paper work in the past? I'm not a lawyer, so I couldn't draw up papers for you. Having won full custody and control of my son a few years back, I have tons of information that could be very helpful to you. By doing the case yourself, it is...

Can ex freeze disability back pay for child support

I believe disability benefits are exempt from such things. If you let them take it, I'm sure the money hungry sob's would do it. It's Getting bad when we have to steal from someone with a disability for god's sake. Not talking about you poster, just the system. His shyster is proabably right...
