A neighbor in apartment complex harasses with constant noise complaints and exaggerate the reality pushing property to evict us.

That's a cop out. You do what you have to do when you have to do it. It's called self-preservation. You aren't going to win this battle with a nasty neighbor. They outlive and outlast you. The longer you wait the worse it's going to get. See if you can get a first floor unit ASAP.

Someone filing for probate other than family without families knowledge

Yes. But I doubt that a yes answer to that question is helping you any and you'll probably have more questions. Before you ask them, answer the following questions to give us something to work with. They are all important so don't omit anything. 1 - Date of death? 2 - With or without a will? 2a...

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses What does this mean ,do I have warrant still or ..????? Can someone plz help explain

It looks like you are reading the docket which is just a list of the documents contained in the case file. You will have to look in the case file and read the actual documents for the explanation you seek.

Purchase & Sale Denial of Service Legal?

I think you have that backwards. The contract would have to specify that the new owner would be responsible for the debts. If the contract says nothing about the debts then the new owner is buying only what is specified in the contract. However, depending on the wording of the contract, even...

Whoever wrote that article is no journalist. I suspect a bot. :(

America's Most Boring Job is on the Brink of Extinction

That article was boring and repetitious. Accountants should take writing classes. LOL.

Behind on debts planning on filing chapter 7 Pennsylvania

If you don't use a bank there is no bank to levy. Do you mean hide cash and use money orders? Well, they can't get what they can't find. Depends on how much you get sued for and what court it's in. You can ask for a continuance (postponement). No guarantee that you will get it. Lawsuits can...

The Love and Joy Fest at the DNC

How about "batshit crazy"? Which is where this thread is quickly heading. LOL. And why it is now locked.

    Is there a noncompete law?

I agree that one can attempt to negotiate favorable terms and a solid severance package. Though the average job seeker doesn't have that kind of leverage and the average employer attitude is sign if you want the job.

    Is there a noncompete law?

Non-compete agreements are legal in NY. Last year a NY bill banning non-competes was vetoed by your Democrat governor. https://www.legaldive.com/news/new-york-noncompete-ban-governor-hochul-veto-noncompetes-legislation/703693/ The recent FTC rule banning non-competes nationally was overturned...

The Love and Joy Fest at the DNC

And how fake is your post? It's people like you who have made politics what it is today. You've taken one frame out of context and trash talked it. Or maybe you found the photo online someplace, copied it and mindlessly trash talked it without investigating. I don't support Democrats but I...

    Authentication and lost money

That's a good analogy. Russia would easily invite you in as a tourist but, when you left, they would want to make sure you weren't leaving with a list of locations of their nuclear weapons. In other words, low security risk buying the CD, greater security risk redeeming the money. Anyway...

I made a mistake in filing Small Claims case, is it fixable or not?

Good point. Makes me wonder if negligent entrustment with regard to the mother might also not apply, though it's likely to apply to the father. There is a site called Google Scholar where you can look up appellate case decisions for interpretations of laws and legal doctrines. Do a search for...

I made a mistake in filing Small Claims case, is it fixable or not?

The statute of limitations is an affirmative defense. That means that the defendant has to raise the defense and move for dismissal. You can amend your complaint and serve the mother and take the chance that she won't raise the SOL as a defense. However, before you delay the proceedings, ask...

    Authentication and lost money

The authentication process is to make sure that somebody, who isn't you, doesn't take your money. The bank did nothing wrong to you, or anybody else who was unable to comply with the authentication requirements.

    Authentication and lost money

Don't waste your time or your money. You won't win. When you bought the CD you made several account holder and purchase agreements, any one or more of which gave the bank the consent to authenticate you in the manner of their choosing. Go online to the bank's website and read them all.

    Appealing a dismissal

I've been curious about something since your other thread and I don't recall you addressing it. Has your employer, in any way, breached any of the terms and conditions of the "contract" by terminating your employment?

What happens to a trials court decision when an appeal of that decision is reversed by the US Supreme Court?

This is as good a forum as any. We all read them all. I, and probably others, eschew hypotheticals. Name the case. Otherwise, there are other sites like Reddit and City-Data where people love spending the day on hypothetical discussions.
