I wish I could help you more, but I can't. Your case is somewhat complex, something I've never come accross, and somewhat exceptional. . .

An Australian criminal defense attorney may be able to do a check for you to see if there are any outstanding warrants for you, plus they may offer you more advice. I'm not sure how much they'd charge, but for the search I'm sure they'll want you to pay something. Good Luck.

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Possible Entrapment

Cops are allowed to lie to you. I don't think your reasoning for buying alcohol ("at least it's not meth") will help much by means of an explanation, either. . . But, it isn't all a lost cause. Cops ellicit false confessions all the time. Have they talked to the minors, and what will they...

    Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft shoplifting

So you are now in China, and you wish to continue studying in Australia. For one thing, this site is primarily for the USA. I am unaware of Australian sites, but there may be some for you to choose. I would recommend talking to an Australian immigration attorney, and asking them to find...

Just to be clear, What is your home country, and what is the country where you are a student?

    Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft shoplifting

The fact you are from another country complicates things. Your rights may have been violated if you wished to speak to your embassy, etc., and weren't allowed to. There's a possibility you won't have a criminal record. Try to speak to an immigration attorney about what happened. Good Luck.

Go directly to jail...do not pass go?

Again, it varies. Part of the punishment is the anxiety. The PO can have him arrested right there, at the spot. The PO can have him see the Judge immediately. I'm sorry, I wish I could give you a 100% answer. My guess is that if the Judge is working tommorow, your friend will see the Judge. . .

Go directly to jail...do not pass go?

It depends mostly on the whims of the probation officer. They may think he isn't taking his probation seriously enough to be spotted twice in the viscinity of alcohol by his P.O. I mean, what are the odds? One logically will deduce he's been in bars a lot more often then that. . . If I were...

    Parole, Probation Probation Violation?

Cdw is right. But, if you could be more specific the help you get may be , well, more helpful. . .

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse if you pay the fine for a misdemeanor charge...

It's not at all the end of the world. Did you pay an amount to be released, or was it P.R.? You need to add more details. Did you actually plead guilty at any time? The penalties for Marijuana possession vary by a HUGE amount around the country, and even from county to county.

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft are there any medical reasons you would not get jail time

If you are a suicide risk, many jails will isolate you with either others that are suicide risks, or have you jailed alone.

Sex Crimes, Sex Offenders Prostitution Solicitation

I don't think there's anything you can do about the situation, and should not worry about it. Sounds like you played your cards right. Congratulations on getting the citizenship.

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Drug and Alcohol testing

I'm sorry, but probation varies wildly not just State to State, county to county, but also Judge to judge, P.O. to P.O.

It seems to me what the store did was unlawful. People put back items where they don't belong all the time. I don't think it's "concealment."

Criminal Trials, Hearings After a plea bargain has been agreed to?

Agrements can often be amended. What the Judge agreed to and your attorney and the prosecutor is very important. judge's don't always like P.O.s to run roughshod over agreements.

Where did she drop the items? If she dropped them in the trash, it could be argued, but perhaps not successfully, that the plan was to put them there and have someone else steal them after closing. She should speak to a defense attorney. Make sure she asks for an assesment that doesn't cost...

Criminal Trials, Hearings After a plea bargain has been agreed to?

There's always something. Contact criminal defense attorneys and ask for someone who specializes in appelate work. Your son may have come to an agreement with one person, then forced to sign something else with someone else entirely. Don't give up hope!

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Going to Court

Your parents didn't get notice to show up. The notice your brother has doesn't say "if under 18 bring parent or guardian," does it? he should just show up as is required. The Judge may or may not make him get his parents involved. What destiny says is a laugher. They won't "try him as an...
