Denied right to due process by employer

Probably too late now, except to pay through the nose and be more careful in the future. I don't know what "technically dismissed" means.

I'm 16 and i need to get emancipated

I'm not reading that big block o'text. What do you mean CFS didn't do anything? You don't get the choice as to whether they are "involved" or not. http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/ByArticle/Chapter_7B/Article_35.html Can you "function as an adult"? As in...

    Fired while off the clock

Is it legal to threaten if you don't sign? Yes. Is it legal to terminate you if you don't sign? No. Having said that, if the agreement isn't enforceable anyway, you lose nothing by signing.

    sexual harassment...

You immediately report the retaliatory treatment to the owner, district manager or regional manager. And physically stay as far away from him as you can. Maybe ask for a shift change? And you can also file a complaint with the EEOC. You can't take this to court without a right to sue...

    Fired while off the clock

From what I could find, there is no LAW either way; it was a state Supreme Court decision, which I couldn't look up because I don't know the names of the parties involved. Perhaps that is what the attorney you spoke to was referring to.

    Fired while off the clock

All I could find was this: http://www.enotes.com/everyday-law-encyclopedia/drug-testing-2 This cite does not define "random" and considering it does not give the Supreme Court case referred to, I have no way of confirming whether "random" was defined in the case. However, your testing was...

    Fired while off the clock

My reading of the law is that an argument could be made that the drug test was related to the injury. Were you paid for the time at the doctor's office at least? However, the bigger problem is that you refused to take the drug test, which was a legal work instruction.

    Fired while off the clock

Any medical attention during regularly scheduled hours on the day of the OTJ is hours worked and must be paid. http://www.dol.gov/dol/allcfr/ESA/Title_29/Part_785/29CFR785.43.htm However, you refused to go and deal with the hours worked issue later.

My exhusband girlfriend is trying to get me fired

duplicate post; please post your question in one forum only; posting multiple times will not get you any more responses and merely serves to split the responses. I just responded in the other forum in which you posted. Actually, this would have been most appropriately placed in the...

my ex husband's girlfriend is trying to get me fired

There is no law addressing disciplinary actions. I suggest you take them up on their offer to write a response. Not signing the write-up could be considered insubordination, if the employer chooses to do so; merely, "I do not agree with the employer's statement" and sign. Kind of like getting...

    company handbook

Just because rules and regulations are not disseminated does not give your the "right" to quit AND get unemployment benefits. Favoritism is not illegal unless it is based solely on a protected characteristic, such as your age, gender, religion, race, etc. Many companies require that any...

Can we the people sue BP for environmental damages in federal court?

"We the people", aka The federal government, very well may do so. The case will be known as "The United States of America v British Petroleum".
