Accident help

I was at a stop sign yesterday. Person in front of me stopped. I saw we both could make it out on the 2 lane rd. She pulled forward in the middle of the 1 lane, and stopped. I hit the back of her car, cause why stop a 2nd time, and why stop in the middle of the lane?

I am at fault, but wondered if any way to fight it since she was out so far?
 
You don't have much of an argument to make. Regardless of the other driver's reason for stopping, you should have maintained a safe distance and avoided the collision .
Whether the driver stopped to let baby ducks cross or to pray for protection from rear impacts, it was your responsibility to control your own vehicle and avoid obstacles in front of you.
 
Now if she was rear ended 2-3 months ago at the same spot for the same reason would that change anything?

I know another co-worker rear ended a female, but forget if it was her or not. I can get proof if it was her if that helps me out.

That accident wasn't as bad so not sure if police got involved.
 
That still doesn't change the answers you've gotten.
 
So I can go around stopping, and going half way through intersections, and get rear ended a bunch of times, and the other driver is always at fault?

I just love idiotic statements like that.

Not if it can be proved that you did it with the intent to cause an accident. Would you be dumb enough to damage you car just to test your theory?

You could do that...you likely wouldn't get hit a "bunch of times" as most people are fortunately smart enough to look where they are going while driving. Apparently you and your friend fall into the unfortunate category.

Nope.

If it is done deliberately, and can be proven, that could change things, however the driver in back SHOULD be able to avoid a collison if maintaining a safe distance.

Won't affect whether you are liable for hitting her. Might affect the damages you have to pay her if you can show that some of the damage to her car that she's seeking was actually done in the previous accident.
