My MIL was not feeling well so we took her to emergency they did some tests nd admitted her in . After few hours she was in coma after 4 days she passed away in the hospital she signed all the papers. She has been a permanenet resident in this country for last 2 years . Now we are getting all the medical bills she has no asset here so what do i do . one of the medical bill associates said that they will go after us to pay and that we need to get a probate done but she has nothing so why do i have to do probate. Any help is appreciated .

You are simply receiving vile, disgusting threats from uncouth debt collectors.
You can ignore them debt collector vermin.
If I were you, I'd block their phone numbers, or change, my phone number.
You are in no way responsible for the debts of adults, even your parents or adult children.
Do yourself a favor, and stop communicating with those devilish, greedy, heartless beasts.
I suggest you grieve over your loss, and ignore those creatures who are lying to you, trying to scam your money from your possession.

You are not responsible for your MIL's medical bills plus she signed everything at the hospital.

I suggest the person who signed her I-864 Affidavit of Support consult a lawyer. It is likely the hospital bill will be paid by your states version of no income health care, which makes her a government charge and the guarantor liable for the bills.
