I Know...same old story, and I should have known better. I need advice or guidance though if anyone can help. Really no need in giving the full story, but here it is in short.

I sent a good faith $400 payment for tickets, which I know I shouldn't have. Said he sent them USPS priority mail, didn't come. Said they were returned to him and was overnighting FEDEX, tracking number bad and he didn't know why. Told him to forget it and wanted my money back...he said okay. Now, he will not answer my calls of course and look like he has blocked my number.

I have his cell number and even tried paying for his info at peoplefinders.com but all I got was a name which was different than what I had. I guess he may have a fake ID or something because he had to show the ID to pick up the money.

So what I would like to know is what is the BEST way to get this guy's address? I know his cell phone number and his cell phone carrier.

I am in Georgia, he is in Florida.

Any advice or guidance?

I am answering this post because I UNDERSTAND. Don't feel alone, I did something very similar to this too. I wanted you to know that we all do silly things without really thinking it through because we just don't expect people to be dishonest.

The only thing you can really do without getting into a big lawsuit is to call the police and report the crime. They aren't going to do anything, but at least you have reported it.

I know...I knew better, but still did it. All I want to get is his address and let him know I have it and see if it changes anything.

Thanks for the reply.

I walked around for weeks stinging from the $500 loss whining to myself (because I was ashamed to tell anyone) about my loss. Sorry man.

That is hard.. Even if you ask the name of the person to his mobile provider they wont give the details to their subscribers because they are protecting their subscribers.
