Payment was sent to Sallie Mae August 2007 and cashed. We have a copy of the cancelled check. In 2011 ex-wife claimed payment not made, we inquired to Sallie Mae and they verified they received but could not say where it was applied. Last month the advocate told us the funds had been refunded...
