Sent my MiniDV camcorder in (from CA to NJ) to a Camera Repair facility under an extended warranty. Camera recorded and played fine but had an occasional problem with uncontrolled zooming.
Facility sent it back with notice that they had not serviced the unit because they could find nothing...
