I read it and agreed to it BEFORE being told that I was to pay for things, so in my reasoning that invalidates a contract made with a different understanding of the circumstances.
I did a photoshoot for which I paid for the studio, hair and make-up, but the catch is, i didn't realize I was paying for it until after the shoot and after signing what I thought was a Time for Prints agreement. The photographer never confirmed a budget, and hid the "bring $400" at the very end...
