I picked up a jar style candle in a major dept. store and the lid fell out right away. It shattered my toe. Can't walk, back is in major pain, haven't worked in a week.
Is there anything legally I can do?
Can a companies policy state all positions will be offered internally, and then hire someone for the position without posting it or offering it to anyone else, while passing up more qualified employees?
