listing said no basement contract does say as is, but the listing said no basement, move in condition-so what the listing/ad for the house doesnt matter?

i live in md, owner lives in ok, house in kansas-listing for house said move in conditon, and in questions on listing, it said specifically no basement-i paid 2510 down and made some payments until got handyman there to check it out to make sure so can rent it out since i drive and cant move...
