I'm sincerely curious as to what might happen in such a situation. Would a man who unknowingly sexted a minor be treated no better than the sort of men on To Catch A Predator? I'm not a legal expert by any means, but it seems so strange and illogical to blame a man and ruin his life for an act...

I met a girl in a chat room a few months ago. From day one she told me that she was 19yrs old and that she was preparing to go to college. (I'm 25, by the way.) We spent the next several months emailing and texting. It was all innocent--nothing sexual at all.
