I live in Illinois. We do not chare the fence. I plan on getting a survey done when I can afford it. The cost is about 1500.00. I believe I will need it regardless if I plan on selling.
I have lived in my home for 6 years and recently discovered that I live in a subdivision with a covenant. There is no HOA. Are the covenants still valid? I put in a pool and my neighbor says I have to remove it because the covenant does not allow it. What can I do?
Selling my home and discovered my neighbors fence is 4-6 inches on my property when looking at the boundary pins. I have lived here 6 years and his fence was up when I bought it. WIll this cause any problems when I sell this house?
