7 years since when? I left CT in July of 2003. Mailed them plates and have a receipt with registration cancellation in August 2003. Now in September 2010 I got a bill from collection agency. Am I past 7 years? Or they are counting since the end of year 2003?

So this thread has been going on for a couple of years. And nobody seems to be able to answer the question: "What can they really do to you?". How did this work out for people who posted back in 2008? Did you pay? Did you sue them? Did you settle? I just got a bill from Bridgeport for 2003...
