Is there anything I can do about the health and dental insurance? A way to get the money back that was deducted from my pay check for these?

My employer has been taking out money from my checks for health and dental insurance as well as 401k. The problem is that they haven't been paying the insurance company and the policy was canceled. The business was closed down 12/19/2008. What action do I take?
