the conviction i got was put under a summary charge, with one year probation and could apply for a pardon after 3 years if that helps as well.
i got charged with theft under $5,000.00. All though I had only $26.00 worth of stuff on me at the time and instead of fighting a lengthy court battle I accepted it and paid no fines or penalties and only recieved probation for the charge for 1 year probation. i think not to sure on the length...
i have recently met someone and we are very much in love. i have a retail petty theft charge from 7 years ago that i got in canada. he is american and i am canadian. i am currently in the process of obtaining a pardon. i have no other convictions. i want to know how hard it will be to move there...
