Okay now I'm really angry. I just got an e-mail from her stating that she sold the item, so it is out of her hands and she is done with it.
Isn't there anything I can do?

No, I don't want to sue ebay. I just read somewhere on-line that if you are going to sue a seller/buyer that you have to sue them in their location or California (where ebay is). I don't know why that is, unless they assume that since ebay's servers are sitting in california...
