I am in a similar situation with my ex husband... I left him over 2 years ago, I moved out and I'm still on the mortgage as he has not held up his end of the divorce decree and has yet to refinance... Something he was suppose to do with in 1 year.
16 months later and 14 missed payments...
Seems are just as I figured and I don't really have a leg to stand on.
The ex has ruined my credit and is only making matters worse by not selling the house when he knew he couldn't afford to make the payments 14 months ago.
