    Even more questions.

I appreciate the responses and all of the help. We have still had no luck in getting an attorney, but I am still looking to find out if my wife's sister had any legal right to allow people to move in and buy the house that their father owned at the time of his death prior to her actually being...

    Even more questions.

The main reason we were opposing her being appointed is the fact that she has done multiple things that she should not have and seems hell-bent on doing more. Things such as taking all of my mother-in-laws jewelry and stocks, changing the locks on the house and not allowing my wife access to...

    Even more questions.

I hate to keep bugging everyone here, but I am in a very difficult situation and have no legal counsel. Today I found out that people are moving into my in-laws' house. They said that it was approved by my wife's oldest sister who is to be appointed as executor in the will. Because of some of...

Does this apply in Texas also?

Let me ask this, since we bought the house in 2001 and had been paying to her mom who died in 2009 and then her dad wanted nothing to do with our house prior to his death in 2010 should her sisters be able to collect all the way back to 2001 on our house? Because my wife trusted her mom and...

Does this apply in Texas also?

Yes, her mom had the mortgage. Our problem is how it could be possible for them to attempt to collect money that should have been Mom's when she was alive.

    Question about court changes

I am not sure which court it was assigned to begin with, which is why I was asking. The county records search just shows the following: CANCELED Probate Hearing (2:30 PM) (Judicial Officer *****) I blanked out the name of the Judge. My wife was informed when she called the Probate Deputy...
