it doesnt make any difference? I mean, i think gotta difference between her records being dismissed and if she was sentenced for probation or/and jailtime, right?

I thought after those kind of programs and since the case was dismissed and charges were dropped it wouldnt be considered as convicted??? Thats why they have those programs, to give people second chances and keep them clean, havent they?
Convicted if the person was convicted and went to jail or...

how about when sending AR-11 to report change of address, how do we maintain same address? cause I know as a UCS spouse i need to file I-865, so we gonna have send two different addresses for each of us? She files AR-11 with her CA address and me file I-865 with my FL address...

so if expungement is available then it is possible to become "clean"? and then when employers do background check it wont show? how about the question "have you been arrested?" should one put Yes or NO after expungement?

it was first arrest, had clean record till then, court ordered 40 hrs comminity service, take one day class, and pay $250. pleaded not guilty... does it make any difference?
If one has been arrested on misdemeanor in the past, will she be able to work as paralegal? I mean, she has bachelor degree, just was stupid enough to shoplift once in the past and got arrested and was charged with pitty theft, and now she would like to study for paralegal, will she have chances...
