I was let go after 13 years told I was hard to get along with & had no noted references of any problems in my employment.

& this was after years of verbal abuse, lack of communication from my manager & other things he did to me to try & get me to quit.

So far, you have posted nothing to suggest that your termination was wrongful (illegal) as defined by law. What law do you think the employer violated by terming you?

In at-will employment you can be terminated at any time for any reason except a reason prohibited by law (examples religion, gender, race....) or unless you have a binding employment contract to the contrary.

As cbg asked, what law do you believe your employer violated - based on your post, I don't see one.

You can look for other employment & file for unemployment ins. The state will decide if you qualify.
