Hi, my name is Mark. I am writing about a case that was dismissed against me. I was arrested for drunk driving, refusing to take a Breathalyzer test, and driving left of center. None of which are true. I spent thousands of dollars to clear my name. I want my money back and to prove a point. Do I have a case?

Thank You,

Mark

Most probably not, because law enforcement operates under a broad immunity. Unless you can show that your civil rights were violated you probably have no case. And being arrested for alleged drunken driving which in the end could not be proven usually does not qualify as such a violation. Of course it is impossible to evaluate this without intimate knowledge of the details.
