I have owned my own business for over 12 years. We are an S-corp, which only has 3 employees. These 3 employees are also the only shareholders. I recently received a Summons and a Motion for Default for a $19,000 advertising debt. However, my wife actually signed this contract and she is neither a shareholder or an employee of the corporation. I am wondering, if I were to go to court, would this detail affect the decision?
Your response is greatly appreciated!
