Wrong Municipal Code On Ticket

I was pulled over for allegedly going through a red left hand turn arrow light.

The officer wrote me a ticket for traveling through a solid round red light (a different Seattle Municipal Code).

Furthermore, in the area reserved for reason ticket was given, he simply wrote "Red Light". There was nothin written to indicate "ran or went through" red light, again just red light.

Can anyone out there help me? I'll pay the fine if necessary but the insurance hike I don't need!

The correct municipal codes

The correct municipal codes are

SMC 11.50.140 Steady circular red signal

SMC 11.50.150 Steady red arrow signal

I was cited for SMC 11.50.140 while traveling in a lane with a steady red arrow signal, thus placing me in a different lane and direction.


Anyone have any idea about getting this dismissed? I think I have a case here.
