Medical Malpractice wrong diagnosis

If a doctor does not diagnose a patient correctly, then refuses services..but also calls dcfs..then still havent prove neglect on the parents behalf..and the patient is still in the same condition under their care, what can be done??

You need to know that some people are mandated reporters.

What's that you ask?

A mandated reporter is required to report to the authorities any case of suspected child abuse or neglect that he/she observes or discovers.

Because a physician is one of those mandated reporters, they're held harmless for reporting such information.

In other words, they're immune from lawsuits for obeying the law.

If, however, you believe a physician is harming a patient, you can report him or her to the sate medical board or local law enforcement.
