My daughter's father, whom she has not seen in 12 years, has recently taken to writing slanderous material about myself and our daughter on his MySpace page. I am guessing it is because he has recently been found and his paycheck is now being garnished for child support. However, his page is not private and anyone can see what he has written about us, including his own daughter. He uses our names so it is quite clear it is about us. Is there anything I can do so that he can not continue to write these awful things?

Contact MySpace. I'm sure that using his page to deliberately harass you after being found to be a deadbeat dad would constitute a violation of some policy in their terms of use - especially if slanderous. That is a clear violation that will put the member subject to termination.
