Medical Malpractice wound vac malpractice

After c section my wife developed an infection and was treated with a wound vac which was improperly applied the first time causing a blood blister to form above her original incision. This drew the infection to this area causing the need for two more surgeries a pic line and having a wound vac for 3 months. The hospital is only offering to cover our out of pocket costs and travel expenses but no loss of wages or pain and suffering. Should we be seeking a lawyer or Take the offer????
 
That's a decision you/she will have to make. I doubt you would get a lot more. However, you can run it by a medical mal practice attorney & see what he/she thinks. Take all medical records with you.
