I live in the state of Kansas. I was down on my luck and found a debit card on the ground. I used it to buy a little over $30 worth of gas for my car (I used the card as "credit" because I did not have the PIN). I felt terrible immediately, and begged a church to lend me $30 plus an additional $10 to return to the card owner. I discovered where the card owner lived, and sent an envelope containing the card, the $40, and an apology letter. I did not sign my name or leave any contact info. What can I expect to happen to me?
