My license is suspended, got pulled over, car got towed. Yesterday was the day I had to go to court, on the ticket the officer put downey court but when I arrived there and waited in line for a long time, the clerk tells me I have to go bellflower and now I have a warrant $ 26, 000. Is it possible for me to get legal help from someone and where? Low income

Legal help is available for felonies and high level misdemeanors.

I don't know of any pro bono services for traffic citations.

In your case, it might be different, because you were popped for DWLS. That might be treated differently, and you now have the failure to appear and the bench warrant.

Why not call the court and inquire if taxpayer funded legal assistance will be afforded to you?

Don't let it go, too long. Also, stop driving, it not gets progressively worse. But, with California's jail overcrowding, money troubles, you might not be locked up. Make the call.
