My fiancée and I had a hotel, DFW Airport Hotel and Conference Center, located in Irving TX, withhold an entire months rent, $730, for non-occupancy. We gave our 48 hr. notice of vacancy and were moved out within 24 hrs. We do have documents verifying as such as well as receipt of our $100 deposit upon checkout.

When you visited, called, or wrote a letter to the hotel; what were you told?

This could be a mistake.

It might be that 30 days notice was required.

Call the hotel, ask why you were charged.

Once you've inquired, you may be satisfied, or may discover you failed to do what you should have done, or it was all a mistake.
