Hello,
I'm an international student just graduated this past May. I applied for my OPT (work authorization) card just before school ended. Unfortunately, a day before graduation I was charged with a trespassing misdameanor in a public park. I went to court, pled guilty and paid a $25 fine. What I'd like to know is if this would hamper my work authorization process in the country? If so, what can I do to fight the decision?
