My jurisdiction is: Cumilla, NY

Earlier this year, (March) I worked as a CDL driver. I worked for a small family owned business in Michigan. After making a delivery in Cumilla, New York, (near Syracuse) I was stopped and ticketed for failure to obey a traffic control device. This device was a sign stating a weight restriction for a particular street. I was also ticketed for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and for an expired tag on my trailer.

I admit fault for driving on a restricted street, but was unaware of the problem with the registration and tag. Because of this, I have since quit working for this employer, but had an agreement that they would handle the two tickets that pertain to the truck and trailer. Recently, I received a notice and appeared before a judge in Cumilla. It was then that I found that the citations for the truck have not been taken care of. I entered a plea of not guilty and have until mid-November to contact the prosecuter. I need help. Where do I stand with this?
