In August, two days after school had started, (I'm in tenth grade) I was pressured into bringing a bottle of Adderrall to school to sell.

I gave the whole thing to some kid, he sold it to another kid, and we all three got arrested at school.

It was a second degree felony - "sale/possession of controlled substance with intent to sell".

Well, now the arraignment's over, I plead "no contest" and I just have 14 months probation and 75 hours of community service to look forward to.

My question is, how do I get this off my record? Since I'm only a juvenile, some people have told me I don't have to tell colleges or jobs that I got arrested and charged.

Some people say that I have to wait till I turn 18 and then get a lawyer and get my record expunged for a certain amount of money.

Can I get my learner's permit with a second degree felony onhand?

I'm so confused. I really have a lot of writing talent and spirit that would just go to waste if I can't get this off my record. I had a future. I made one mistake. I'm suffering the consequences.

Will the charge totally drop when I'm 18 or will I have to get it expunged?
