What's the liability of landlord for lock-out?

I was locked out illegally by my landlord. I believe she considered me a lodger since I worked for exchange of rent (room and board). Since It was out of a violent nature, forced by armed guard (privately hired, It is determined to be "unsafe " to return to premises. What is the landlord liable for? I know about the $100 per day. But how long and what other damage can I seek?
