Vocational Rehabilitation in Florida told me "there are no mandatory requirements for anyone to refer an individual to VR". If this is the case, how should one know about VR? When I was a child, my mom did not know about VR to get me enrolled. The psychologists I saw did not refer me to VR because they didn't have to or did not know. If we found out about it, we would have enrolled and they would have payed for my Bachelor's school. Since we did not find out, we couldn't get me enrolled and the opportunity was denied. There should be a mandatory requirement to refer an individual to VR or else those with disabilities will lose out on opportunities. I am currently enrolled in VR and want to get back the funds lost from not knowing about them so I could enroll before I began my Bachelors education. What type of attorney can represent me in this case?
