hello,
last july i accidently cracked the screen on a slot machine in a casino, the casino manager on duty called the sheriff and they questioned me and took me to there jail, they questioned me again there, finger printed me and then let me go on a signature bond, the court date was supposed to be in september... i hired a lawyer the next day, he told my wife and i not to worry that i was not going to jail and he has seen alot worse at that casino, so i paid him a flat fee that he requested and then september rolled around the d.a. canceled my bond and he told my lawyer he wanted me to go for counseling for gambling, i said no problem even though i have no gambling problem (my wife and i go about once a month), i have been going to this counselor for 6 months now and i have not hear from my lawyer since september 2008, i never have heard anything from the district attorney, so what should i do now???????? the counseling sessions consist of talking about what i had for dinner etc etc and they are very costly, can somebody please help me with this question.
