What recourse do I have if I feel I was intentionally mispresented

I was arrested on Federal drug charges and paid a lawyer a $10,000 pre indictment fee. I saw him a maximum of 4 times, one in which he advised me to talk to the federal agents, at which time he just sat there. I was indicted and my bond hearing was 4 days ago and he never showed up. He said my $10,000 fee was up and he sent his associate to my hearing, who had NO idea what was going on and said that I should find another lawyer. I feel that I have been grossly misrepresented and am wondering if I have any recourses to receiving any of my money back. Thank you so much for your help.
