If you failed to respond to the original citation, a "failure to appear" warrant was probably issued.
That's a bench warrant. Bench warrants have no expiration death, except the death of the one named on the warrant.
If the court issued a FTA, your license is probably suspended.
You might want to contact the court, not some online forum, and hear it straight from the horses's mouth, not his derriere!
