Mystifying

If a C Corp business owner signed an agreement that included the phrase "this constitutes a personal contract" does that agreement autmatically cancel if the business owner decides to sell the company, or is it a part of the company itself?

Maybe what the business owner mean that the engagement he or she entered is a personal one, meaning, the corporate business is not involved in the agreement.
The agreement does not cancel nor form a part of the company itself.
However, if complications will intervene later on by virtue of the contract entered by the owner, there would be a great possibility that the corporate veil will be pierced, on allegations of fraud or some other considerations.
