Owner Change What defines breaching a lease

Looking for legal documentation....


We have a 1 year lease.
The owner spent our first 3 months fixiing up the place, which was suposedly for our benifit.
Two days after the last repair was finished we were he's putting it up for sale.
When we initially signed the lease, he lead us to believe that the sale would be at the end of the lease (30days before it's end).

Now he wants to start to show the property 3 months into our 12month lease!!!

Do we have any protection over quiet enjoyment, or any other rights in this matter???

You certainly do not have to cooperate . I would be asking the landlord what he is going to do for you for the inconvenience. Showing the property 3 months into a 12 month lease in unreasonable and I would be asking to re-negotiate rent, and that 24 hours notice be given when someone wants to view the property.
